[Project] → [Project Summary]

·The project consists of all data (such as maps, events, actors, and enemies) used in the game. To make a game with this software, a “project” needs to be created.

·When a project is created, a folder will be made on the hard disk, and various types of data will be saved into it as files. Project management (loading, name changing, deleting etc.) will be carried out in this folder.

·There are no limits on how many projects can be made.

·In order to open more than one project at the same time, you have to open another instance of RPG Maker 2003.

·Projects contain a "project file" which has the file extension ".r3proj". Double-clicking it from Windows Explorer will open the corresponding project in RPG Maker 2003.
