[Scroll Map]
Function
·Controls scrolling of the screen.
Settings
·Under [Option], specify how the scrolling should be handled.
oFix: Stop scrolling and fix the screen position in place.
oUnfix: Restarts scrolling.
oShift Position: Scrolls over the map.
oReturn to Origin: Returns the screen to its original position with the player at the centre after [Shift position] is used.
·Choose the direction ([Up], [Down], [Left] or [Right]) to shift in under [Direction to shift] (only applicable if [Shift position] was chosen under [Operation]).
oUnder [Distance], enter the distance to shift by in terms of characters, in the direction specified under [Direction] (only applicable if [Shift Position] was chosen under [Option]).
oFor example, if [Right] was chosen under [Direction] and “2” was specified under [Distance], the map will shift right the length of 2 characters.
oUnder [Speed], choose the speed at which to shift from the dropdown menu. At [4: Normal], the scroll speed will be the same as when an actor is walking (only applicable if [Shift position] or [Return to Origin] was specified).
·If [Wait for Completion] is enabled under [Options], the player will not be able to move until scrolling has finished processing (only applicable if [Shift position] or [Return to Origin] was specified).
Notes
·On maps that do not scroll, this command has no effect on scrolling.
